In the vast and changing world of the music industry, people always have a favorite format. Although time passes, many people cling on to one over the other. So tell us why you like the format you do, and give your thoughts on any you think are dead and gone for good.

To be honest, I'm a cd guy. Nothing was a better feeling than popping that record out of the shrink wrap and then pouring over the lyric booklet as you listened to it the first time. There are few things more satisfying. An mp3 is convenient, but I just don't think that you can have the same attachment with it as with a hard copy. Cassettes were annoying, and way too easy to break, and I never got into Vinyl because of a lack of record player, and the degree of difficulty it added to listening. A CD combines everything I look for in music. Artwork, convenience, great sound quality. It's sad that it is sort of going the way of the dinosaur, but I believe that it will always be around because like Vinyl, there will always be a market for it, although quite reduced in number. I think the units pressed and shipped will go down substantially.
